Loa 3.04m (10’ – 0”)
The "RYE BAY 10" is 10' - 0" long with a 5' beam and a dry weight of 130lbs (58kg) for a maximum crew weight of 520lbs (236kg). This results in a much roomier boat for her size. Built from plywood with 9mm bottom panel and 6mm sides, she presents very little extra work than her smaller sister. She can be rowed, motored or sailed but the kit does not have a sail rig option. She was originally intended as a motor runabout but would lend herself to sailing as well. There are buoyancy tanks fore and aft as an option. It is built with a slightly curved stem for a more pleasing look. More of these are built with a deck these days and this is now an option. The fore seat is omitted and replaced by the deck.
